Description

A particularly beautiful wood grain on this mid-century perpetual wall calendar…
Made in 1940s – 1950s, probably for a bank or post office, it has a lovely mahogany facade framing days and dates which are manually adjusted via rotating spindles on its sides. The front is glazed to protect the letters and numerals, which are painted on canvas in a charmingly naive style!
It come in very good vintage condition with an undamaged front and some minor discolouration and creasing to the canvas.
An awesome piece of mid-century nostalgia indeed… and in working order too!
