A super sharp mid-century desk lamp by German manufacturer, Kaiser Leuchten.
This large lamp is a Model 6874 and I believe it was designed by Klaus Hempel during the 1960s. Solidly constructed with a heavy black metal base, adjustable chrome neck and teal coloured metal shade, it features dual bulb holders and comes in a classic stripped-down Bauhaus design!
Founded in 1895 by Hermann Kaiser, Kaiser Leuchten became synonymous with Bauhaus design and is best known for its collaboration with Chritian Dell (Kaiser-Idell) and his iconic lamp designs of the 1930s.
With original cable, rocker switch and recently PAT tested, it comes In excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and original label still attached to its base.
