Likely French and dating from the 1930s, it’s beautifully proportioned with one curved side housing a lockable, shelved cupboard, and an opposing angular side containing four dovetail jointed drawers.
A fifth drawer sits neatly above the kneehole, and luxurious Macassar ebony veneers hug every surface including the back… testament to its high quality construction.
In very good and clean vintage condition with minor signs of wear, it carries no maker’s mark and so may have been designed and produced as a one off piece by an independent furniture maker.
