Well it may just be a small teak tray, but it’s a really good one…
Produced in the 1950s by Swedish company Söwe Konst, this elegant little design is the work of Sigvard Nilsson, who established the firm in 1954.
Nilsson (1938-2014) studied sculpture and crafts before opening his prestigious handicrafts company, which won awards in both Sweden and the US for its minimalist design trays and bowls.
This solid teak gem comes in excellent vintage condition and with the maker’s stamp clearly visible on its base!
