Brian Willsher (1930-2010) was a highly regarded 20th Century sculptor from South London, known for his method of using a bandsaw to create his works.
He enjoyed a string of successful exhibitions during the 1960s, as well as five consecutive Royal Academy of Arts Summer shows.
His work was admired by, among others, artist Henry Moore, and a 2021 exhibition of Willsher’s work in central London has further added to his prestige.
