Designed in the late 1950s by brothers Uno and Östen Kristiansson and produced by their high-end Swedish furniture company, Luxus, this sublime dressing table mirror is beautifully constructed from iridescent oak sections and features attractive exposed joinery details.
The perfectly balanced mirror tilts and spins freely on a steel rod, which slots neatly into a finger-joined, tripod base.
Luxus produced various mirrors throughout the 1950s & 1960s, and although this much coveted design is sometimes referred to as the Model 404, having researched old catalogues I believe it is in fact a Model 406!
This icon of 20th Century Scandinavian design comes in beautiful vintage condition with only minor signs of age.
