Description
Some things make me feel nostalgic about a time before I was even born….
This early 20th century articulated dog has the magic to transport you back to a perhaps simpler time when expectations were (clearly) not so high!
These scratch-built wooden dogs were produced as home projects throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, and can be found in a variety of different styles. They are now highly collectible and considered little works of folk art.
Lovingly crafted from stained pine with metal stud eyes and a red leather collar, this charming example may be as early as Edwardian and is certainty pre-1950s.
L32cm (nose to tail) x H18cm x W6cm
In good vintage condition – clean and with a small area of damage to the front right paw.
