Description

This awesome pair of original mid century light shades have a particularly architectural look to them!
Dating from the 1960s, they’re constructed from sheet metal which has been cut into interlocking sections and slotted together to create this unique, geometric form.
Powder-coated grey on the outside and white on the inside, they can be hung on a modern ceiling pendant and look equally striking whether lit or unlit.
I haven’t been able to identify the maker but they’re reminiscent of the Jan Hoogervorst pendant lights from the same era, are heavy, well constructed… and gosh that design is pretty slick too!
They’d been hanging in the same home since 1965, and therefore come in excellent vintage condition with only minimal signs of use.
