An ultra stylish mid-century desk lamp by German manufacturer, Kaiser Leuchten.

This large lamp is a Model 6885 and I believe it was designed by Klaus Hempel during the 1960s.
Solidly constructed with an adjustable teal coloured metal shade and matching base bridged by a shiny chrome neck, it features dual bulbs and comes in a classic stripped-down Bauhaus design!

Founded in 1895 by Hermann Kaiser, Kaiser Leuchten became synonymous with Bauhaus design and is best known for its collaboration with Chritian Dell (Kaiser-Idell) and his iconic lamp designs of the 1930s.

In excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, this striking desk lamp has been recently rewired and PAT tested and comes complete with its original manufacturer’s label attached to the underside of the bulb holder.
