A beautifully stylised rosewood sculpture of a female form…
Surprisingly the highly polished, almost Bakelite looking base seems to be made of hardwood, and may in fact be ebony.
I conducted a little burn test with a hot needle and it doesn’t appear to be synthetic!
In very good vintage condition, and signed ‘D. Webb’ on its base.
