An unusual 20th Century fruit bowl / bread basket.
This charming piece of modernist design dates from the 1930s-1950s and is unlikely to be a mass produced item but probably a one-off project… likely made in somebody’s shed!
Nicely constructed with veneered sections of wood forming a slatted bowl, the shape of which is echoed by opposing curved legs, and its larger size making it perfect for fruit or anything else you might think of.

H16cm x W29cm x D29cm

Original, unrestored condition - clean and sturdy with minor signs of wear.
