An unusual variation of a Bay Keramik glaze, this decor is often attributed to revered German ceramics designer, Bodo Mans, although I’m unable to find conclusive evidence of this.
I’ve seen the same decor in a variety of colours, but most commonly in blues and greens with a gloss finish. This rare beauty comes in a matte yellow and glossy turquoise glaze, and strangely reminds me of the psychedelic children’s books of my early childhood… and possibly some of the wallpaper too!
