Description
Produced by Dutch ceramicist, Marius van Woerden, this sculptural pair of 1970s vases are notable for that distinctive hole through the centre, and are finished in a fossilised Velociraptor glaze!
Van Woerden was born in Rijswijk in 1942, and as a young man worked at various potteries around the Netherlands before establishing his own studio in 1964. This eventually grew to become Vest Keramiek in 1973, producing a series of now highly collectible 20th Century ceramics.
These fine examples come in excellent, undamaged condition.
