Kai Kristiansen is one of the most respected names in 20th Century Scandinavian design, collaborating with some of the the top furniture makers of the day, including Fritz Hansen.
This Model 162K stunner was produced in Denmark during the 1960s by high-end furniture producer, Aksel Kjersgaard, and features a generous and beautifully sculpted teak frame.
I have a full length version hanging in my own hallway… this rare wider square model comes in good vintage condition with just a little wear to that iridescent teak frame.
