Description

Looming large is this rare, oversized perpetual wall calendar…

Dating from the first half of the 20th Century, its solid oak facade frames days and dates which are manually adjusted via rotating spindles on its sides.
A glazed front protects its letters and numerals, which are painted on canvas in a charmingly naive style.

Its unusual dimensions suggests it was probably designed for use in a factory, post office, bank or other large work setting… roll on the weekend!

An awesome piece of nostalgia indeed, and in full working order.

H40cm x W40.5cm x D7cm

Good clean vintage condition, fully operational with minor signs of wear.

*also on the website in the ‘Decorative’ section is the smaller mahogany example (see pics)
