I have two remaining of these beautiful and huge 19th Century solid mahogany chests!
Extremely weighty and edged with an ebony trim, the interiors have been sealed so are dust-free, while the exteriors have been thoroughly cleaned and waxed to bring out out the deep red hues of the tropical hardwood.
Their clean lines and minimal ornamentation give them a stripped-down modernist look, making them ideal for either a domestic or retail setting.
