Description

As pretty as a picture…
And this little gem of a hand mirror can also be hung on a wall!
Often attributed to Swedish lighting supremo, Hans-Agne Jacobsson, I believe these mirrors were in fact produced by Bech & Starup, and retailed through luxury Copenhagen department store, Den Permanente, during the 1960s.
Two strips of teak veneered ply are steam bent around a double-sided mirror, and secured by a single brass fixing at the top.
In very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age, it would look ultra stylish on a dressing table or hung by the leather cord as a small decorative wall mirror.
