Description
Best of British…
A top quality Yew veneered side table, designed by Robert Heritage.
Produced in the 1960s by British furniture maker, Archie Shine, it features two dovetail jointed drawers with beautiful flush brass handles. The top drawer is compartmentalised to keep your keys separate from your chaos!
The back of the carcass is also finished in Yew veneer, which is nice sign of quality.
Robert Heritage (1927-2008) is one the most respected names in 20th Century British design, while Archie Shine sold furniture through some of the more high-end retailers of the day, including Heal’s of London.
This fine example comes lovely vintage condition with nice clean drawers and a few minor signs of age.
