A stylish and highly unusual 1950s side table, on five legs!
A veneered walnut top with lipped edge, raised on a solid walnut frame and tapered legs, each capped off with little brass feet.
Expertly joined with sculpted details to each of its 5 corners, giving the table a flowing, organic appearance.
The only other example I’ve found of this rare dedign was attributed by an auction house to Danish designer, Anton Kildeberg, however the table is unmarked so I can’t be certain of this, and I have my doubts.
But regardless, it’s an stunning piece of mid-century design and would make a unique addition to a variety of interiors.
