Description

A rare pair of ultra sleek and much revered Danish teak bar stools.
Produced by Dyrlund in the 1960s, this awesome design is often attributed to well-known furniture designer, Erik Buch, but is in fact the work of Knud Bent (see final pic which shows them listed in the original Dyrlund catalogue).
Black leatherette seat pads sit on slender teak frames with low and sculptural bent-wood back rests, giving the stools a distinctive modernist look!
Originally these were also available in rosewood, which also looks stunning… but you can probably guess my preference!
These teaky head-turners come in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear, and complete with manufacturer’s labels still attached to their undersides.

H89cm x W36cm x D37cm (seat height 76cm)
