A whopping biomorphic teak sculpture, signed A. H. Alford.
Interestingly this organic form looks like a composite of different parts, but on closer inspection it appears to have been carved from a single piece of wood!
Large and imposing, it likely dates from the 1960s-1970s, and is engraved with the artist’s name on both the top and base.

Overall very good vintage condition, with some natural hairline cracking in places (pictured)
