Designed by Torbjørn Afdal and produced in Norway during the 1960s, this very elegant cocktail cabinet is beautifully made with fine teak veneers and slender solid teak legs.
The twin doors open to reveal a matrix of mirrors and glass shelving, two dovetail-jointed drawers, a six-piece bottle rack and even a retractable drinks tray for preparing you favourite tipples!

Torbjørn Afdal (1917-1999) is widely regarded as one of Norway’s most gifted mid-century furniture designers, and in 1959 he was awarded with a gold medal at the Deutsche Handwerksmesse in Munich for his ‘Broadway’ lounge chair.
Among those who purchased Afdal’s designs were First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and the Japanese Emperor, and he later designed the office of Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland.

This timeless Scandinavian drinks cabinet comes in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age, and that deep golden teak colour which you just don’t get from modern furniture!
