A very elegant Danish teak writing bureau, by Arne Wahl Iversen.
Produced in the 1960s by Vinde Møbelfabrik, this ‘Model 37’ bureau features three large drawers with a built-in writing slope which pulls down to reveal a teak-lined interior, housing two further small drawers and a number of useful cubby holes.
Raised on a solid teak frame and legs, the veneerd carcass tapers outwards at the front giving it that warped, almost cartoon-like form synonymous with 1960s style.
Beautifully made with dovetail jointed drawers, it comes complete with key and is in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of use!
